Tournament Results

The competitive bass fishing tournament that Brady Moy competed in has ended for the winter.

Brady, Roto-Mix’s northeast regional manager, finished third in points (for the NYS BASS Federation) from the Albany Area Bassmasters.

The third place finish will allow him to fish in the New York State Club Team Championship in July 2013. Only the top three finishers are allowed to continue to the championship.

“It was a challenging season with a lot of ups and downs,” Brady said.

If he does well in the championship, he’ll advance to the Eastern Divisional Championship.

Last weekend Brady finished sixth in a tournament at Lake Bomoseen in Vermont.

Brady has one more bass tournament this month at the Mohawk River in New York. This tournament is not part of the series he’s been fishing in and doesn’t affect his standings.

One More

The 2012 bass tournament series is almost over for Brady Moy.

Brady, Roto-Mix’s northeast regional manager, is in fifth place in the Albany Area Bassmasters. The last tournament of the season is Oct. 13 at Lake Bomoseen in Vermont.

Brady said one challenge this year has been the drought conditions, which makes for a tough season.

“Lakes are low. Fishing has been difficult,” Brady said. “I’m optimistic and looking forward to a strong finish.”
