Hoisington Award Program Honors the Achievement
Roto-Mix has been selected for the 2013 Best of Hoisington Award in the Cattle Feeding & Watering Equipment category by the Hoisington Award Program.
Each year, the Hoisington Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Hoisington area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2013 Hoisington Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Hoisington Award Program and data provided by third parties.

Here’s an update from Brady Moy, Roto-Mix’s North East Regional Manager, about his recent bass fishing tournament:
At the tournament this weekend at Oneida Lake (in New York) I finished in first place with a two-day total of over 30 lbs of bass. This is my first win of the year. I will be looking forward to the next tournament on Saratoga Lake on July 20. My year-end goal is to win Bassman of the Year Honors for Albany Area Bassmasters and also secure a place in NYS Club team championship in 2014- the gateway to the Bassmasters Classic.
Brady Moy, Roto-Mix’s North East Regional Manager, is participating in bass tournaments this year. So far he’s competed in two tournaments.
Here’s an update from Brady:
At the two-day tournament on Lake Champlain in Rouses Point, N.Y., I finished second overall, just .23 lbs out of first place. I also had the lunker (big fish) for day one, a 4.74 lb smallmouth bass with a two-day total of 29.55 lbs.
The second tournament was the Jerry Simon Memorial tournament on Cossayuna lake with a fifth place finish and again with the first place lunker bass of the tournament, a 4.78 lb largemouth bass.
I will be leaving this weekend for Oneida Lake for a two-day Tournament. Flooding in western New York will make this very interesting.
Roto-Mix is sponsoring a new television series that will air tonight on RFD-TV.
The first episode of Grandam Farm will air at 6 p.m. today and it will repeat on at 4 a.m. Wednesday. The show will air at 6 p.m. every Tuesday.
The show follows the steps of a beginning dairy farmer as he sets out his dream of building a modern, traditional farm.
Viewers will get to see different stages of development, from property choice, crop selection, to what types of cows make the best milk for the farmer’s creamery.
Throughout the show the farmer will get advice from top rated agricultural schools and representatives from the industry’s leading manufacturers.
The show will feature a Roto-Mix VXT-325 feed mixer being used at the new dairy farm and will include other Roto-Mix products in the future. Brady Moy, Roto-Mix’s Northeast Region Manager, has been instrumental in getting the new farm and the TV show up and running as a technical adviser.
